Terms of service

These terms govern your use of Grubtrip, operated by Lazy Ventures INC. By using Grubtrip you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

The service

Grubtrip helps groups plan meals for shared trips, build a shopping list, open a cart on Walmart.com and estimate how to split costs. Grubtrip is free to use. We may change or discontinue features at any time.

Your account

You sign in with an email address you control. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account, and the person organizing a trip should be an adult.

Your trips and content

You keep ownership of what you enter. You allow us to store and display it to the members of your trip, to anyone with the trip's invite link as described in our privacy policy, and to process it to provide the service. Do not enter content that is unlawful, harassing or that you do not have the right to share.

Suggestions are suggestions

Recipes, quantities, essentials lists, activity ideas and weather summaries are generated automatically and may be wrong or incomplete. Always check ingredients and labels for allergens, follow safe food handling, confirm that activities and places are open and suitable, and use fire pits, grills and pools safely and as the rental allows. You are responsible for the decisions you make.

Walmart and prices

Product names, prices and availability come from Walmart and can change at any time. Your purchase is a transaction between you and Walmart on Walmart.com, under Walmart's terms. Grubtrip is not a party to that purchase, does not handle payment and is not responsible for orders, substitutions, delivery or refunds. Grubtrip may earn an affiliate commission as described in our affiliate disclosure.

Cost splitting

Budgets and balances are estimates based on the information your group enters. Settling up is between the members of your group. Grubtrip does not collect or transfer money.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service, including by trying to access trips you have not been invited to, interfering with the service, scraping it, or using it to send spam.

Ending your use

You can stop using Grubtrip and delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.

Disclaimers and limits

Grubtrip is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, Lazy Ventures INC is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to one hundred US dollars.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of [STATE], without regard to its conflict of law rules.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change is meaningful, we will update the date above and let signed in users know in the app. Continuing to use Grubtrip after a change means you accept the updated terms.
