# Grubtrip

> Grubtrip (grubtrip.com) is a free web app for planning the meals a group cooks together at a vacation rental. Families claim breakfasts, lunches and dinners, every home-cooked meal merges into one Walmart cart, and the grocery bill splits fairly by headcount. Any meal can instead be marked as eating out, a private chef, or on your own.

Grubtrip is made by Lazy Ventures INC, a Delaware corporation, founded in 2026 by John Kane. It is free to use; groceries are paid to Walmart directly and Grubtrip may earn an affiliate commission at no cost to the shopper. There is no app to install and no password: people sign in with an email code. Grubtrip does not sell personal data, runs no advertising cookies, and honors Global Privacy Control.
